What you actually get for that price
The standard unit of ADHD coaching is one 30–60 minute session per week plus one client-initiated check-in between sessions. Subscription services price similarly per unit of coach time: Shimmer, for example, charges $230 per month for one 30-minute video session per week with text messaging in between. Whatever the wrapper, most of the week — the Tuesday 2pm moment when the email still isn’t sent — falls outside what you’ve bought.
What all-day coaching coverage would cost at hourly rates
A useful way to compare offerings is coverage: how many hours a month is a coach actually available to you? Full workday coverage — 9 hours a day, Monday through Friday — is about 195 coach-hours per month. At market hourly rates, that coverage would cost:
| Hourly rate | 195 hours/month of coverage |
|---|---|
| $75 / hour | $14,650 / month |
| $150 / hour | $29,300 / month |
| $250 / hour | $48,800 / month |
How Get Up and Flow prices all-day support
Get Up and Flow’s Full Support plan is $750 per month for the same dedicated coach on call 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday: a morning Jump Start planning session, reminders through the day, up to 45 minutes of Bonus Time help when you stall, and an optional end-of-day Retro. Across roughly 195 covered hours a month, that works out to under $4 per covered hour — versus $75–$250 per hour for traditional coaching. A lighter plan, Focus Lite, is $200 per month for a weekly 20-minute planning call plus daily text reminders.

Does insurance cover ADHD coaching?
No. ADHD coaching is not covered by insurance and is paid out of pocket. Coaching is also not therapy or medical care: coaches are not licensed clinicians — which is why credentials, training, and clinical oversight are worth asking any provider about.
